Ilmora began in Lahore with a simple frustration: finding the correct edition of a textbook meant visiting three shops on Urdu Bazaar, and finding a good teacher meant knowing someone who knew someone. We set out to put both in one place.

Why Ilmora exists
Books and courses were sold in separate worlds. Students live in both.
A Pre-Medical student in Multan needs the Punjab Board biology textbook, a reliable MDCAT guide and someone who can explain the cardiac cycle clearly. Until now that meant a bookshop, a second bookshop and a YouTube search. Global course platforms don't sell textbooks; local bookstores don't teach.
Ilmora brings them together. Our name joins ilm — knowledge — with the idea of more: more access, more choice, more of the country reached. We stock original academic books, Urdu and English literature and carefully curated Islamic titles, alongside practical courses taught by Pakistani experts.
- 2022
Started as a two-person WhatsApp book service from a Gulberg flat, delivering FSc textbooks across Lahore.
- 2023
Launched nationwide Cash on Delivery and signed our first ten publishers.
- 2024
Added online courses — Python and spoken English were the first two.
- 2026
Three warehouses, 300+ cities, and the first store to sell the textbook and the lecture series together.

We show a discount only when a price has really dropped. The total you see, delivery included, is the total you pay.

Navigation follows how Pakistani students actually study: by board, class, group and subject — not by a foreign store's categories.
Teachers first
Our instructors keep 70% of every course sale, and we pay authors' publishers on time, every month. Good teaching should pay.
