A narrative history of the Muslim world from the death of the Prophet ﷺ in 632 CE to the fall of Baghdad in 1258 CE, written in readable Urdu for general readers and students.
The book covers the Khilafat-e-Rashida, the Umayyads in Damascus and Andalus, the Abbasid golden age of Baghdad and the rise of regional dynasties. Political history is balanced with chapters on administration, scholarship, science and culture.
